Hello Amigo’s y Amiga’s, my name Is Santiago Leal, but you are welcome to call me Santi. Les quiero enviar un saludo cariñoso para toda mi Gente, It is my honor to meet you all my friends. I was born on December 1, 1965 in a small town in West, Texas by the name of Hamlin. Hamlin is located in Jones County and is part of Abilene, Texas Metropolitan area. I was born a second generation American Latino. My grandparents originated from Mexico and from Spain. My parents, may they rest in peace were born in the State of Texas. My mom born in Robstown and my dad in San Antonio. As for myself I grew up in Dallas, Texas through the years of growing up in this beautiful city I have been blessed with the opportunity of becoming a member of several bands playing Tejano tunes that we have all enjoyed over the years, outside of my musical profession I have been blessed with a career in the medical field for over 25 years; I have to say that over the years that I have been in this field, I have felt honored and blessed to have the opportunity of helping people in need and there is nothing more fulfilling than helping a brother or sister out and I am proud to say that this is the man that I have been and always will be. I developed a love for music at a very early age, my father was a guitar player and composer, my mother had a beautiful voice and my brothers were also musicians. My father never wanted me to become a musician, so I had to become a self-taught musico, but with music in the blood he could not stop me. I began to write songs at a very early age inspired by a beautiful young Bonita in school and from that moment on I have gone through many ink pens in my lifetime, I have always enjoyed expressing my feelings through my songs and vocals and the love of playing the piano. My living dream has always been to someday have the opportunity of sharing my music with my Raza and anyone that is willing to listen in hopes that my music and yours might have some value to your ear. The reason I say your music is because in creating music through the years of my life, I created much of it with you in mind. I have begun to put my music creations into action for your listening pleasure in hopes that you might begin to accept and enjoy. In my youth, I grew up listening to artist such as Little Joe y La Familia, Jimmy Edwards and The Latin Breed, Freddy Martinez, Al Chavarria, Ramon Ayala and Paulino Bernal; just to name a few. These were some of the pioneers of la musica Tejana and were also my influences as a youngster. Today my influences have been artist such as, Jay Perez, Gary Hobbs, David Lee, Rey Reyna, Michael Salgado, and Ram Herrera, and back in the 80’s my favorites were Los Buenos, Hugo y fandango USA, Los Palominos and many others etc. I have always had a great respect for other musicians and always made it a point to support up and coming Tejano musico’s. I have recently completed several beautiful albums which consists of a variety of beautiful songs, Tejano, Cumbias, Rancheras, Romantic and heart breaking Boleros, a beautiful Mariachi and Evangelist album that I believe many whom are close to the Lord will appreciate its warmth and the message that I wanted to express through music. God is with me and this will not be my last album but I will have to leave it to you to decide if my music is of any value in terms of appreciation to your ear, heart and soul. I am proud to share that today is the beginning of this long life dream of mine that is finally at hand. I thank you for this opportunity of allowing me to share my music with you and hope that it’s to your level of satisfaction and listening pleasure, there will be so much more to follow and remember that I will also donate 15% of every album bought to feed families in need during the end of year Holidays. Please help me in supporting this cause of mine and yours my friends so that together we may feed as may families as our generosity will permit because as a witness first hand, there are so many who are less fortunate. Hola Amigo y Amiga, mi nombre es Santiago Leal, pero eres Bienvenido a llamarme Santi. Les quiero enviar un saludo cariñoso para toda mi Gente, es mi honor conocer todos mis Amigos y Amigas. Nací el 01 de diciembre de 1965 en un pequeño pueblo del oeste, Texas con el nombre de Hamlin. Hamlin se encuentra en el Condado de Jones y es parte del área metropolitana de Abilene, Texas. Yo nací un Latino Americano de segunda generación. Mis abuelos que se originó de México y España. Mi padre, que descansen en paz nació en el estado de Tejas, San Antonio y Mi mamá nacida en Robestown, Tejas. Como para mí que crecí en Dallas, Texas a través de los años de crecer en esta hermosa ciudad, que hesido bendecido con la oportunidad de ser miembro de varias bandas tocando musica Tejana que hemos todos disfrutado de años y fuera de mi profesión musical hesido bendecido con una carrera en el campo médico durante más de 25 años; Tengo que decir que en los años que he estado en este campo, me he sentido honrado y bendecido de tener la oportunidad de ayudar a personas necesitadas y se está cumpliendo nada más que ayudar a un hermano o hermana hacia fuera y estoy orgulloso de decir que este es el hombre que He sido y siempre será. He desarrollado un amor por la música a muy temprana edad, mi padre fue un guitarrista y compositor, mi madre tenía una voz hermosa y mis hermanos también fueron músicos. Mi padre nunca quiso de yo ser músico, por lo que tuve que convertirme en un musico autodidacta, pero con la música en la sangre no podía pararme. Empecé a escribir canciones a muy temprana edad inspirada por una joven hermosa que nombre Bonita en la escuela y desde ese momento en eso me dedicado y ha pasado por muchas plumas de tinta en mi vida, siempre he disfrutado de expresar mis sentimientos a través de mis canciones y voz y el amor de tocar el piano. Siempre ha sido mi sueño de estar algun dia de tener la oportunidad de compartir mi música con mi Raza y a cualquiera que está dispuesta a escuchar con la esperanza de que mi música y los suyos podrían tener algún valor al oído. La razón que digo que su música es porque en la creación de música a través de los años de mi vida, creé mucho con usted en mente. He empezado a poner mis creaciones música en acción para su placer de escucha con la esperanza de que podría comenzar a aceptar y disfrutar. En mi juventud, creció escuchando a artistas como Little Joe y La Familia, Jimmy Edwards y la raza Latina, Freddy Martínez, Al Chavarria, Ramon Ayala y Paulino Bernal; sólo para nombrar unos pocos. Estos fueron algunos de los pioneros de la musica Tejana y también fueron mis influencias como un joven. Hoy mis influencias han sido artistas como Jay Perez, Gary Hobbs, David Lee, Rey Reyna, Michael Salgado y Ram Herrera, y en los años 80 mis favoritos eran Los Buenos, Hugo y fandango USA, Los Palominos y muchos otros, etcetera. He tenido siempre un gran respeto por otros músicos y siempre hecho un punto a hacia arriba y de musico Tejano que viene. Recientemente he completado varios discos hermosos que consiste en una variedad de canciones hermosas, Tejano, Cumbias, Rancheras, románticas y corazón rompiendo Boleros, será un hermoso Mariachi y evangelista álbum que creo que muchos que están cerca del Señor apreciar su calidez y el mensaje que quería expresar a través de la música. Dios está conmigo y no va a ser mi último álbum pero voy a tener que dejarlo a usted a decidir si mi música es de un valor en términos de reconocimiento a su oído, el corazón y el alma. Me siento orgulloso de compartir que hoy es el comienzo de esta larga vida sueño mío que es finalmente a mano. Te doy gracias por esta oportunidad de permitirme compartir mi música con ustedes y esperamos que es su nivel de satisfacción y placer escuchar, habrá mucho más para seguir y recordar que también donará el 15% de cada disco que se compró para alimentar a las familias en necesidad du anillo de final de año. Por favor me ayudan a apoyar esta causa mía y tuya mis amigos para que juntos nos podamos alimentar como pueden las familias como nuestra generosidad permite porque como un testigo de primera mano, hay tantos que son menos afortunados.
